Sara Davidson, author of the best selling novel, Cowboy, first captured America’s imagination with her international best seller, Loose Change, which was adapted into an NBC miniseries. She was co-executive producer of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, has written hundreds of hours of drama episodes, movies and miniseries, and in 1994 was nominated for a Golden Globe.

A contributing editor for O: The Oprah Magazine, she also conducts celebrity interviews for Reader’s Digest and has written for The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Harper’s, The Atlantic, the Los Angeles Times and Rolling Stone.

She’s been a guest on national television shows such as “The Today Show”, “Larry King Live”, and “Sixty Minutes,” and does commentary on public radio.

At 57 years old, she found herself in what she calls “the narrows, “ the rough passage to a different phase of life. She could no longer get work, her children left home for college and her partner of seven years deserted her. Stripped of what identified her, she was determined to survive and learn about what the next 30 years would be.

In her latest book, “Leap! What Will We Do with the Rest of Our Lives?” she discusses the many ways the Boomer Generation is surviving the transition and writes a no-holds-barred look at what’s next for the Baby Boomers.
